Wondering what exactly is love...?

Iam wondering what exactly is love..? There was a time, when I believed that love is where there is unstated understanding. But now a days, I feel that all that is IDEALISM..! One has to be practical. I have realised that there is zameen aasmaan ka fark in a guys perception and a girls perception. So...there has to be a practical approach to it. I mean, I guess I was naive to think that true love is as strong as blood relation, especially incase of relationship. But, today I think that NO...love between a guy and a gal CAN NOT be as strong as that of blood relation, and its stupid to even expect that.!!! Am I right in my thinking.? then what is true love..??
